Hello PJTC,
The month of May is a relatively quiet one for Men’s Club, recuperating from a very successful and well attended Man of the Year/Service to Community Award night. The “guys” made dinner (thank you Debbie Singer for your salmon recipe), led by Chef Sean Surfas’ scrumptious corned beef and Jack Singer’s purchasing prowess. Thank you to David Snyder, Lou Friedman, Stu Miller, Josh Pais and Erich Schlecht who helped out with the unsung duties (chopping, cleaning, organizing), bartenders Ben and Lynn Broudy and a thank you to Arlene Weiss and Melissa Levy who jumped in last minute to attend to the serving stations. The evenings overall kudos belong to our VP of Programs Stu Miller and former MC president, Jack Singer, who brought back the idea of “the guys can cook this dinner” for approximately 100 attendees.
Most of you have heard of the Men’s Club, but surprisingly few know the scope of our activities. In 2022-23 Men’s Club activities included (but not limited to) the following:

Finally, Men’s Club (in conjunction with sisterhood) raised $40,000 with its matching campaign for the benefit of our PJTC and community Jewish youth organizations!
