Bat Mitzvah of Juliet Levine
Juliet Levine, daughter of Todd and Monica, will be called to the Torah on April 28. She is currently a 7th grader at Sierra Madre Middle School. Born in Orlando, FL, she spent a significant portion of her childhood in Shanghai, China with her brother and parents, where she learned to speak Mandarin (better than English) and regularly requested "duck" for dinner.
After re-acclimating to American culture in Pasadena, Juliet took up saxophone and tennis which she continues to enjoy through school band and the tennis team.
For her mitzvah project and beyond. Juliet prepares and hands out food to the homeless at the Pasadena Presbyterian Church on Sunday evenings.
Most would describe Juliet as an easy going, conscientious, and empathetic person, who can roll with anyone in any situation!
