Please join us for a special Shabbat Shirah on Saturday, January 15th at 9:30am. Guest Cantor Diego Rubinsztein will share his voice to help us mark the occasion.

We come together, once again, for our annual Shabbat Shirah [Sabbath of Song] to rejoice in the Israelites' passage across the Red Sea and escape from slavery. The Song of the Sea, a special musical moment in the Torah inspires a celebration of song as we read Parashat Beshelach and remind ourselves of the importance of ensuring freedom for all.

ABOUT CANTOR DIEGO RUBINSZTEIN:

• Buenos Aires based cantor, pianist, composer and producer.
• Diego Rubinsztein is recognized as one of the most visionary leaders of modern liturgical music in Latin America.
• He has served several congregations in Buenos Aires and the US, including the emblematic and oldest synagogue in Buenos Aires, Temple Libertad, and most recently Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center in Florida, U.S.
• He’s also the founder and Executive Director of Zamir, an organization dedicated to promoting Jewish music and education in Latin America.
• Diego has recorded several CDs of Jewish spiritual music and many synagogues around the world sing his tunes.
