Publication "Pasadena Now" made mention of PJTC's services in their Yom Kippur article yesterday, as a key provider of High Holy Day online services options for the Pasadena area. We were so pleased to be able to safely hold in-person services for our members this year, and continue the practice of streaming services for members at home, the larger Pasadena community, and the even larger Jewish community as well. We agree with Rabbi Ilana Grinblat, vice president of community engagement for the Board of Rabbis of Southern California at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, who said in the article, “Virtual services gave us the ability to transcend geography and join with people throughout the country and the world in prayer, song and learning. As the pandemic continues, this medium remains a powerful way of connection for many synagogues.”
