Join us for Back to School with Foothill Unity Center

We know its scorching hot and the kids just got out of school but Foothill Unity is busy collecting for their back to school drive that is scheduled August 9-13. Help Foothill to meet its ambitious goal of providing 2,000 local students with backpacks and supplies for the upcoming school year.

It’s never too early to do a mitzvah so please join us by donating before Wednesday, August 4, 2021.  If you are looking to save money on your purchases, Staples is offering in store discounted prices on many school supplies as are many of your local retailers.  Here is what they need:

·         Pencil Boxes & Pouches

·         Pencils (Standard, bundles) and Sharpeners

·         Pens (Black or blue ink, bundles)

·         Scissors (5" Blunt and Pointed)

·         Spiral Notebook (College or wide)

·         Brand New Back Packs (no blue or red)

·         Calculators – Basic or Scientific

·         Colored Pencils and Markers and Crayons (24-pack)

·         Composition Books (College and wide ruled)

·         Erasers (pencil top and regular)

·         Filler Paper (College and wide ruled, 150 sheets)

·         Folders (2 Pocket or 3-prong) and Binders

·         Glue Bottle (Water soluble) or Glue Stick

You can donate directly by following the link below or you can drop off your school supplies and backpacks at the outside bin in front of the PJTC lobby Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm. You can also mail a check to Foothill Unity Center, Inc. 790 W. Chestnut Avenue, Monrovia, Ca. 91016
