Jessica Donath
Administrative and Program Assistant
Jessica is PJTC’s administrative and program assistant. She discovered her passion for behind-the-scenes synagogue workings as a board member of Congregation Beth Chayim Chadashim, the world’s first LGBTQIA+ synagogue. A journalist by training, she writes about arts and culture, religion, homelessness, and the LGBTQIA community. She holds an MA in journalism from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and an MA in Political Science and Philosophy from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
Jessica once performed stand-up comedy at the Ice House in Pasadena, CA, her adopted hometown, where she lives in an early Victorian house built in 1892 with her husband and two kids.
