The Jewish Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee (JEDI) Welcomes author Claire Stanford author of Happy For You, a novel featuring a Jewish-Japanese- American protagonist and which explores themes of race, religion , and navigating a changing world with a mixed identity. We will meet at PJTC Thursday, 3/28/24, at 7pm.

The author will read about the protagonist’s recalling her Bat Mitzvah, which touches on the richness and complexity of growing up in a mixed faith, multiracial family. The book ,a Jewish Book Council selection., is described as poignant, touching and wry.

A Q & A,book signing, and dessert reception will follow. Books will be available for purchase.

Xavier Mejia, Director of QTalk Radio, and a Producer and Director at the Pasadena Media and CEO of mejia.tv <http://mejia.tv/> will be moderating the event.
